How to add a barcode image into an OpenOffice document (Windows)

You can use ActiveBarcode to add barcodes to your OpenOffice.org Documents.

You can add the ActiveBarcode control to a OpenOffice.org document. BUT while evaluating this, we did not find a way to change the size of the control. So working with the control is very restricted and cannot be recommended.

So we currently recommend to use the ActiveBarcode Application (included in all editions of ActiveBarcode) to add barcodes to OpenOffice.org documents. First create the desired barcode using the ActiveBarcode Application. Then copy this barcode to the Windows clipboard. Select the function "Copy Bitmap" or "Copy Metafile" from the "Edit" menu:

Now activate your OpenOffice,org document and move your cursor to that place you want to insert the barcode image. Now select "Insert" from the "Edit" menu of your OpenOffice.org application:

The barcode will be placed into your document:
