How to add a barcode into a WordPro documentA short description of how to add a barcode to your
WordPro document. First launch WordPro and create a new document
or open an already existing one. Now go to the menu
"Create" and select the "Object..." function:

A dialog that shows all the objects installed to your system will appear. First select
the option "Object" or "Control".

Choose "ActiveBarcode" from the "object type list" and click
Ok. Now a barcode object will be embedded into your document
This will be a standard barcode of EAN-128 type. This is the default type. You can change this to
any barcode type supported by ActiveBarcode:
Codabar,
Code 25 Industrial,
Code 25 Interleaved,
Code 39,
Code 39 Extended,
Code 93,
Code 93 Extended,
Code 128,
Data Matrix,
DUN-14,
EAN-2,
EAN-5,
EAN-8,
EAN-13,
EAN-14,
EAN-18,
EAN-99,
EAN 128,
EAN-Velocity,
GS1-128,
GTIN,

But this is not necessary now as we are using EAN-128 type in this example.
To modify the barcode you have to switch into Design Mode. To do go to the
"View" menu and have a look for the option named "Design OLE Controls".
This one must be checked:

If this option "Design OLE Controls" is not checked, select it now.
Now go back to your document by once clicking the current page. Next you activate
the ActiveBarcode control. Simply click the control once. Now you can change the barcodes
size, type, colors, position etc. You'll now find a new menu item named
"ActiveBarcode":

Select it and then choose the function "Properties".
The property dialog
of ActiveBarcode will open. There you can change the properties of
the barcode control.
