You can use ActiveBarcode to add barcodes to your Freehand MX Documents.

We recommend to use the ActiveBarcode Application (included in all editions of ActiveBarcode) to add barcodes to Freehand MX documents. First create the desired barcode using the ActiveBarcode Application. Then copy this barcode to the Windows clipboard. Select the function "Copy Bitmap" or "Copy Metafile" from the "Edit" menu:

Barcode, Freehand MX

Now activate your Freehand MX document to insert the barcode image. Now select "Paste" from the "Edit" menu:

Barcode, Freehand MX

The barcode will be placed into your document:

Barcode, Freehand MX

Now you can position the barcode in your document freely. If you like to change the barcode in size also, it is advisable, to use the barcode as a meta graphics, because these meta files are lossless scalable.
