You can use ActiveBarcode within nearly any document. If your application does not support ActiveX controls (OCX objects), you can use the ActiveBarcode Application to add barcodes to your documents.

This is an example of the usage of ActiveBarcode application with WordPad:
Launch ActiveBarcode Application and modify the barcode as you want.

The barcode will be copied as image to the clipboard of your system and is now available for most applications. Now open the application and the document you want to add the barcode. In this example we use a simple WordPad document.

Place your cursor where you want to see the barcode and select "Edit" from the menu and "Insert" from that sub menu. The barcode image will be placed in your document:

That's it! The barcode is placed into your document as an image. By using this way, you can add barcode technology to nearly every document. But don't forget, if you software supports ActiveX technology it's preferred and more flexible to use the ActiveBarcode control to add barcodes to your documents!
