Add barcodes to your documents using the ActiveBarcode Application

Example

You can use ActiveBarcode witin nearly any document. If your application does not support ActiveX controls (OCX objects), you can use the ActiveBarcode Application to add barcodes to your documents.

This is an example of the usage of ActiveBarcode application with WordPad:
Launch ActiveBarcode Application and modify the barcode as you want.

Now, if you have completed the barcode you will copy the barcode into your clipboard. Select Edit from the main menu and Copy Bitmap from the sub-menu (A full description of the menu is located here):

The barcode will be copied as image to the clipboard of your system and is now available for most applications. Now open the application and the document you want to add the barcode. In this example we use a simple WordPad document.

Place your cursor where you want to see the barcode and select "Edit" from the menu and "Insert" from that submenu. The barcode image will be placed in your document:

That's it! The barcode is placed into your document as an image. By using this way, you can add barcode technology to nearly every document. But don't forget, if you software suppports ActiveX technology it's preferred and more flexible to use the ActiveBarcode control to add barcodes to your documents!
